Are you having trouble helping people in your organisation become agile and develop the new mindset? Looking for other Agile Coaches to learn from and refresh your skills? Need to talk about organisational challenges in a confidential environment?

Benefits

Learn from leading Agile Coach practitioners who have helped their clients to evolve their teams’ practices and mindset. This programme goes beyond ‘good practice’ or ‘best practice’ training courses by hearing from experienced Agile Coaches who will discuss scenarios of what has worked for them, where they failed, and what they learned.

In addition to our guest speakers, the Case Clinics allow participants to bring their own current issues to the group. Facilitated by Laura Re Turner, who draws on a wide range of professional coaching approaches to help participants learn from the issues presented. These sessions deepen participants’ capacity to self-reflect and see more of the opportunities and blockers to their work with teams and leaders.

Laura is the author of Becoming Agile: Coaching Behavioural Change for Business Results, published by Open University Press in May 2021.

Programme format

This closed group meets 6 times. Each programme participant can also meet twice with a mentor, one to one, at additional times to be agreed individually.

Each 3-hour group session starts with a guest speaker who will discuss their own learning experiences in moving from novice to expert in Agile Coaching, with Q&A, for one hour. The remaining time of each session will be an engaging Case Clinic for participants to get help from other participants with current issues at work. Your host, Laura Re Turner, will facilitate the Case Clinics to help participants see issues from new perspectives.

    • Luca Minudel, SmHarter
    • Isaac Garcia, Coaching Agile Journeys

    • Christine Thompson, Adzooma
    • Pia-Maria Thoren, Agile People

Continuous learning

A principle of participating in the Case Clinics is to give and receive support in the style of action learning sets which participants can then self-facilitate in their own organisations. The facilitated work teaches participants the skills to continue to probe and challenge existing organisational structures and behaviours when the programme has finished.

Who is this programme for?

Participants must be working as an Agile Coach or in a change-maker role to support your organisation in becoming agile. For example, you are working as a project manager and need to create a new approach for engaging a supplier to work with internal staff in a single delivery team. Or you are a new Product Owner and are looking for the trust and authority you need to work with the team on shaping product requirements from Sprint to Sprint.

The Case Clinics in each session work on the basis that participants have current issues to bring from an organisational context. The programme is open to internal coaches and staff as well as external coaches.
