This course provides a great introduction for anyone who wants to build a foundation in Agile frameworks. It’s a flexible online course that you do at your own pace, and it’s based on the popular Agile Fundamentals course that’s accredited by ICAgile. This is a cost-effective way to learn Agile ways of working, and really cut through the myths and dogma often associated with Agile.
The first thing you’ll learn in the course is that Agile, with a capital A, is actually a family of different frameworks, techniques, and practices, and that there’s never really one way of doing Agile. [00:01:00] We’ve worked really hard to build a course that has engaging videos, world class content, examples, and optional exercises that all come together to make this an engaging course, which is really great value for money.
You’ll get a fundamental understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming and Continuous Integration, Lean Startup, and Agile Project Management based on DSDM. We’ll look at their similarities and differences. Then, each lesson takes a deep dive into the four value statements of the Agile Manifesto.
We’ll look at what’s behind each of them so that you’ll understand the true success factors of using any of the frameworks.
